For our classroom project, we created a retro cringe-themed spoof corporate film for 5Star Chocolate, set in the fictional "5Star Innovation Centre." Drawing inspiration from outdated 80s and 90s corporate videos, the film showcases eccentric scientists hilariously overhyping ridiculous chocolate innovations, like "quantum caramel dynamics" and "nougat revolution." With exaggerated jargon, low-budget visuals, and awkward performances, the project uses humor to poke fun at corporate culture while staying true to the brand’s quirky personality. The goal was to blend nostalgia, absurdity, and satire, capturing the essence of 5Star’s "stay lost" theme in an intentionally cringeworthy, entertaining way.
